About Swadeshi Mela

Swadeshi Jagran Manch organises “Swadeshi Mela” every year
with an intent to depict and promote Indian Culture just before Depawali.

Mela happens in the month of October at
“Centre for Cultural Resources And Training” (CCRT) Grounds, Dwarka, sector -7, New Delhi.

Our History

“Swadeshi Mela” started in the year 2014 in Dwarka, New Delhi. People from Dwarka and nearby areas of Dwarka visits and spend time here. Foot-fall is increasing year after year . Approximately lacs of people from all age group visit here and relish the regional food on offer and to buy the unique swadeshi products on display and sale.

There are Several activities during Mela period catering to all age group like off-stage activities, games, swings, shops, cultural activities etc.

“Swadeshi Mela” is providing platform to Artisans to interact directly with buyers and promoting them with an intent that be employment generator not employment seeker…

Our Vision

The Mela is organised with intent to promote the concept of Swadeshi which is to promote the indigenous product manufacturers, handicraft, health awareness and various unique products by Artisans.

Every year more than 100 retail stalls, street food and cultural performances were organized.
